Charter costs
The Seawolf is a smoke free vessel. Thank you in advance for not smoking.
Prices for 5 people
- $500 for a four
(4) hour charter;
- $600 for a five
(5) hour charter;
- $700 for a six
(6) hour charter;
- $800 for a seven (7) hour charter;
- $900 for a eight (8) hour charter w/in
20 miles.
- $955 for a eight (8) hour charter w/in 20-30 miles.
- $1000 for a nine (9) hour charter w/in
30-50 miles, and
- Additional hours
are negotiable while at sea for a rate of $85 per hour.
- Gulf Stream trips
generally cost $1200 and normally take around ten (10) hours.
- Hilton Head pick-up
includes an additional cost.
- All Prices are subject to change.
- 6th person -add $60.00- *all trips
Overview
Weather permitting,
fishing charters are available all year and all fishing equipment is furnished
for trolling, bottom fishing and live baiting. Many varieties of fish are available
throughout the year but the type caught on any trip is dependent on the water
temperature and weather. Fish taken in a typical year include: Amberjack, Barracuda,
Black Sea Bass, Black Drum, Blue Runner, Bluefish, Cobia, Crevalle Jack, Dolphin,
White Grunt, Grouper, King Mackerel, Marlin, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Spottail
Pinfish, Red Fish, Red Porgy, Red Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Sharks ( Black Tip
etc.) Spadefish, Tarpoon, Triggerfish, Tuna and Wahoo.
Charters
The following are
representative of the charters with the potential species of fish available:
- 1) One Half Day
(4 hours)...Port Royal Sound to (*)approximately 10 Miles Offshore: Black Sea
Bass, Black Drum, Bluefish, Cobia, Jack Creville, King Mackerel, Red Fish, Spanish
Mackerel, Shark, Sheepshead and Tarpoon.
- 2) Two Thirds
Day (6 hours) to Full Day (8 hours)...(*)approximately 10 miles Offshore to (*)approximately
40 miles further offshore: Barracuda, Black Sea Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, Cobia,
Dolphin, Grouper, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Spade Fish, Spanish Mackerel, Shark,
Tarpoon, and Tuna.
- 3) Full Day with
Extra Hours (8 hours+)...50 Miles Offshore to Gulf Stream: Tuna, Marlin, and Wahoo
(*)Please be aware that the fish may ignore these three offshore areas and move
either closer to shore or further out depending on water temperature and weather.
Moreover, running time to get to these areas and the ability to fish is also dependant
on the weather.
Open Dates
Charters are available
during the entire year but dependant on weather. Open dates are best arranged
by telephone...843-525-1174. Please restrict calls to between 1700 to 2100 hours
(5:00 pm EST to 9:00 pm EST).
Deposit
A two hundred and fifty dollar
($250) deposit is required to secure a charter date. In the event of bad weather
or boat mechanical problems the deposit will be refunded. A customer may cancel
the charter up to ten days in advance of the trip and the $250 deposit will be
returned...within ten days of the trip the deposit will be forfeited.
Payments
All payments are
to be made in cash or by personal check. Credit Card if desired.
Extra Fees
Everything is included
in the Base Price, including the cleaning of the fish. Tips for the mate are at
the customer's discretion.
Number In Party
Party may number
from one to six persons over the age of eight years old. For Charter Boats, the
cost of the trip is the same for one person as it is for any number up to six.
Fish Limit
The SEAWOLF VI encourages
"catch and release"; however, customers can keep the legal limit of
any legal-size fish.
What Is Supplied
Everything necessary
for fishing is supplied, including tackle and bait. Customer should supply food
and beverages for themselves. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed during fishing
trip
(limit of two alcoholic beverages per person).
Experience
No experience
is
necessary... the mate and the captain act as instructors.
Running Time
Vs Fishing Time
Under normal conditions
the running time is less than 66% of the trip. However, the weather and the type
of fishing effect the running time of the trip. The captain makes his best effort
to minimize running time while not compromising the safety of the boat or the
safety and comfort of the customers.
Departure Time
Morning departures
are normally from 0500 to 0730. Afternoon departures are negotiable.
